In this lesson you will add a Title Block that you created to a new project. First let's learn how to load the Title Block Family into a project. Click the Menu Browser and move to New and then select Project. In the New Project Dialog make sure that the Template File is set to Structural Analysis default Template File and under Create New make sure that project is selected and click OK. Then in the New Project click the View Tab and from the Sheet Composition Panel click New Sheet. Then in the Select the Title Block Dialog click Load. Then in the Open Dialog browse to the Training Files Imperial Folder and select Title Block complete and click Open. Then back in the select the Title Block Dialog with the Title Block complete selected click OK. Next let's Modify the Title Block Properties. Select the Title Block and on Element Panel click the Element Properties drop-down and select Instance Properties. In the Instance Properties Dialog under Other for drawn by type the word Name and click OK. Then zoom into the lower right corner of the sheet. Notice that the drawn by label has been updated. Click the Manage Tab and on the Project Settings Panel click Project Information. In the Instance Properties Dialog for Project Issue Date type January 1 2010. Then for Project Status type in progress. For client name type James Smith and for Project Name type Office Building and for Project Number type 2010 - 01 and click OK. Then to adjust the Office Building Label select the Title Block and on the Family Panel click Edit Family and in the Revit Dialog click Yes to open it for everything. Then in the Title Block Family zoom in to the lower right corner, select the Project Name, label and drag one of its controls to widen it. Then click Load into Project and in the family already exists Dialog click Overwrite the Existing Version. Then Zoom to fit to Title Block in the View. Close the project without saving it as that concludes this lesson.
