Subtitles of the Movie
In this lesson, we will continue defining and working with labels. Delete the text entities for the sheet number and file name in the lower right corner of the title block. Simply select the text object and press the delete key on your keyboard. Click on the label tool in the design bar and select a point inside the lower section of the box you just emptied of text. In the select parameter dialog, click the add button. In the parameter properties dialog, select the select button. Then in the shared parameters dialog, click the edit button. In the edit shared parameters dialog under the parameter area click on the new button. In the parameter properties dialog, type in the name approved by two, date and then click OK and then click on the new button again and this time type in approved by, date and click OK and click on the new button one more time and type in file name and click OK. Then click OK to close the edit shared parameters dialog box. Again, click OK to close the shared parameters dialog box and click OK once again to close the parameter properties dialog. In the select parameter dialog, select sheet number from the list. Leave the value field at A101 and click OK. In the type selector, the new label will be identified as label tag one. Click the properties button from the options bar. In the element properties dialog, click the edit new button. In the type properties dialog, select rename. In the rename dialog, give the label type the name half-inch tag. And click OK. In the type properties dialog, change the text size to half inch. Then make the background banner transparent. And click OK. In the element properties dialog, choose edit new. In the type properties dialog, select duplicate. Give the new label type the name quarter-inch tag. And click OK. In the type properties dialog, change the size of the text to a quarter inch. Click uplight to set this field value. And then select duplicate. Give this new label type the name three-sixteenths inch. And click OK. And then change the text size for this new label to three-sixteenths. Click on uplight and you now have three label sizes defined. Make the quarter-inch tag the current tag. And click OK to close the type properties dialog. And click ok again to close the element properties. Now when you move the cursor into the upper section of the line box, Revit Building will find a alignment plans from the previous label. Align the new label with the first one and left click. In the select parameter box, choose add, then select, then file name and click OK three times to place the label. Now select modify on the family design bar. Now select the sheet number label and choose properties from the options bar. Change the horizontal align value to center. And then change the vertical align value to middle. Now click OK to close element properties and move the label to a suitable place in the line work. Now repeat the alignment change for the file name label. Select file name, then click properties. Change horizontal align to center and vertical align to middle. click OK and move the file name to an appropriate place. Notice the alignment planes again up here with Revit.
