Subtitles of the Movie

In this lesson you create a Line Style to mark the Zoning Setback from the Property Line. Continue with the open file or open the file Object Files, Progress. In the Project Browser double-click Site. Notice the Site topography and the Property lines. From the Manage tab, Project Settings Panel, click the Settings drop-down and select Line Styles. In the Line Styles dialog under Modify Subcategories click New. For Name enter: Zoning Setback, and click OK. For the Zoning Setback Category for Line Weight, Projection select 2. For Line Color select Red and for Line Pattern select Double-dash, five-eighths of an inch. Click OK, then click the Home tab and from the Model Panel click Model Line. Then on the Element Panel in the Type Selector select Zoning Setback, then on the Options Bar for Placement Plane select Level: 02 Entry Level. This places the line above the topography. Then, draw lines for the Setback approximately as shown. If you only want the Setback to display on the Site View then use Detail Lines. Detail Lines only show in the view where they are created as if they are placed on an overlay of the view. Click Modify then open the 3D View. Notice that the Zoning Setback lines display in this view. Click the View tab and from the Graphics Panel select Visibility-Graphics. Then on the Model Categories tab expand Lines and clear Zoning Setback. This turns off the visibility of the Zoning Setback lines only in this view. Click OK. Then in the Project Browser under Floor Plans double-click 02 Entry Level. Again, from the View tab's Graphics Panel select Visibility-Graphics. Here expand Lines and clear Zoning Setback and then expand Site, then select Site and clear Property Lines. Then click OK. Now open the 3D View again. Then Save this file and Close this file as that concludes this lesson.
