In this lesson we will add Views to the Sheets we created for this project. From the Menu Browser select Open and open the file RAC AVS 05-Place Views. Now let's add a Plan View to a Sheet. In the Project Browser scroll to Sheets and under Sheets double-click A1-Floor Plan then scroll back up to the top and in the Project Browser under Floor Plans click and hold 01-Entry Level and drag it into Sheet A1. Then let go of your mouse and move the cursor to position the View on the Sheet and click to place it in the center of the Sheet. Next, zoom in to the lower left corner where the Sheet Title is. This View Title is composed of the View Name from the Project Browser and the Scale specified in the View. Next, let's add Section Views to a Sheet. In the Project Browser scroll down and open A2-Sections under Sheets. Then under Sections, Building Section, click and drag Section Through Main Stair and place it in the upper right corner of the Sheet, then under Sections, Wall Section, click and drag Typical Wall Section and place it on the left side of the Sheet. Then, under Detail Views, Detail click and drag Detail at Grade and place it to the right of the Wall Section, then zoom in to the Callout on the Section Through Main Stair view and notice how the Callout Head displays the correct Sheet and View number references. Then, in the Project Browser under Sheets, All, double-click A1-Floor Plan then Zoom to Fit, and zoom in to the Section Mark at the top of the Plan view and notice the Section Mark displays the correct Sheet and View number references. Then Zoom to Fit and open the Sections Sheet and Zoom to Fit in there as well. Then close the file as that concludes this lesson.
