Hi, everyone. This is Dwayne Ferguson from Virtual Training Company. I hope you had a great time learning Combustion 2008. We did quite a few things in the application, not only did we create some really cool end projects, but we learned about some of the new features of Combustion, such as the Color Warper. We also experimented with how to add lights, animate them, same with cameras. We added shadows, both regular and also our own, learned how to make them nice and soft. Talked about how to animate text, whether it's just regular text that you can break apart to spin around, individual letters or to animate on a path. Also spent some time with the Paint Operator creating basic vector graphics and even masks and speaking of masks we talked about how to do feathering to create really nice effects. Now Combustion also as we learned does animation very well, so we animated things such as a shark moving around with particles tracking from it and once again speaking of particles, my favorite thing in the world, we talked about how to add particles and how to customize those particles. Now let's take a look at some of the projects that we actually created and finished inside of Combustion, so let me just jump to my Desktop real fast and I'm going to open up some of the files that we actually worked on. So we have our movies that we created, I'm going to just go ahead and open some of those up, worked on the auto show and that was a lot of fun, did all kinds of really nifty things there, from working with 2D images all the way to bringing in 3D images from another application. We also worked on let me just go ahead and open this up the volcano which I'll save as test 3 on my computer and we did some particles here as well as animated the camera and even used alpha to add some, a fire inside of the volcano itself showing through a Photoshop file. And we also worked on last but not least the movie that had us doing a TV show. So let me see if I can just find that real fast, it's got to be here somewhere, but I can just find this by choosing File, Open and then just finding on my hard drive. So just give me a second to track that guy down. The old Log Cabin File, so let me go ahead and find that movie and here's the Log Cabin and what we did here was took still images and erected them to create a 3D set, complete with shadows, with lights a glow in the moon and even some see through animated text. Once again I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, please definitely check out some of the other tutorials by myself and other authors on the VTC website and until then take care and thanks.
