I've done a little bit of zooming and panning and moving around now, just to allow us to zoom in a little bit closer on the Dynamic Block of the desk and the phone there. I've also brought this Normal Block of the chair just a little bit closer, just so we can zoom in and see what we're doing a bit more concisely during Exercise 2. Now we're still adding Actions to Dynamic Blocks here, but what we're going to do is we're going to add some Actions to this particular block here. Now what I am going to do is change the Rotation of this chair before I make it into a Dynamic Block. Now I can do that in the Block Editor. I can use any normal command like rotate in the Block Editor. Now before we do that, though, do you remember when we made this into a Dynamic Block we still called it Executive Desk, didn't we? So what we're going to do here, we're going to use the Rename Command. If I just type Rename and press Enter it brings up all the different named objects in my drawing. If I go to Blocks here you'll see that I've got Executive Desk there. I can rename Executive Desk now to Desk-DYN, like that. If I OK that now that desk now has a different name. Let's just check that. I'll click on it, right-click, go to Properties and you'll see now that it's Desk-DYN, can you see that there? So, always use that Rename Command if you need to rename blocks at a later date. I'll just Escape that now. I'm going to double-click on the chair now and select Executive Chair there and OK it. And what I'm going to do now, just zoom out slightly and I'm going to go to Open Save, Save Block As and I'm going to call it Chair-DYN unlike I did with the desk. But obviously you can change that if you need to. The only thing we haven't got there is the original Block of the desk. That's no problem though because we can Explode that Dynamic Block of the desk if we need to and just save it as a Standard Block. I'll OK that as Chair-DYN. I'm now going to Rotate this, so what I do is I select everything, right-click and rotate. I pick the 0,0 point there and if I just rotate around now can you see, I can use my Polar Tracking and drag it downwards and that's rotated it the way I want it to. It's now facing that desk. I could add a Rotation Parameter and Action. I'm not going to do that until later on in the Course. Let's get you used to the basics first. So now what I need is an Alignment Parameter on the chair itself. Now what I'm going to do here is slightly strange. Just watch. I'm going to zoom in here and I'm going to place an Alignment Parameter using Object Snap Tracking off of these two points here. Just watch what I do. It's real easy. So what I'm going to do is go to Parameters, Alignment and come into the Drawing Area. Base point of the alignment will be here, left-click and then all I do is I come up, I hover on that point there and come out and left-click, when it comes out on the Polar Tracking at the 90 degrees there. I've now got an exact 90 degree, or vertical, alignment line. You can just see it there. If I zoom in a bit more, can you see the dotted line? It's not following the curve or that point there, it's exactly like that. So when I touch that chair against an edge of a desk it will align it. Now the other thing I need is a Flip Action, just in case I need to flip the chair as well. So I take a Flip Parameter and the Flip Parameter is going to go on the back of the chair here, like that, get that lined up. Label Location, well I'll just drop that there. Now I need a Flip Action, so I go to the Action tab, select Flip, select Flip State 1, select all of the objects like that, right-click to confirm and there's my Flip Action there. Now I might want to flip that chair the other way as well, so let's put another Flip Parameter in place, so go to the Parameters tab, Flip Parameter there and I'm going to place it just on here, so it's left-click, left-click there. Pop Flip State 2 over here near Flip State 1. Same process - Actions tab, click on Flip Action, select Flip State 2 this time, the one with the exclamation mark, select all of the objects again with a zooming window there like that, right-click. You've now got 1 and 2 Flip Actions there, two Flip Parameters and also an Alignment Parameter. Save your Block, close your Block Editor. Now remember this is the Normal Block here so I'm going to erase that and then go Insert Block and there's my Chair-DYN there. So I'll OK that now and bring it in and look, as I touch there it'll align to there and if I touch there it'll align to there. So I'm just going to align it there and then just drag back on my Polar Tracking a little bit, like so and left-click. So my chair is now nicely aligned with that edge of the desk. But watch. If I select it I can flip it that way, like so. If it needs to be flipped either side of let's say a partition wall, or I can flip it that way and then flip it that way and then flip it that way and then flip it that way. So you can see there with that Flip Action I've got in essence two directions of flip because I've specified a Flip Action in the X and Y axis like I did with the telephone. I'll hit Escape there now and I'll zoom out and there's my perfectly placed desk, telephone and chair using Dynamic Blocks, Parameters and also adding Actions.
