We now need to lock our Viewport scales to avoid people ruining the Viewport scale by double clicking on the Viewport accidentally. Just watch the screen a second, if I double click here in the Viewport then zoom in and out, look my Viewport scale is now ruined. I don't know what scale that's at. So what I have to do is I have to go back here, select my 2 to 3 again and then I have to Pan to place my general arrangement back in the drawing again. That's work that I don't really want to have to do, so what I need to is I need to lock my Viewport. So what I do here is I'll double click outside the Viewport to Deactivate it, I now select my Viewport by clicking on the edge of it like that, right click, Display Locked on the Shortcut Menu and I select Yes on the submenu. Now if somebody double clicks inside the Viewport it still activates the Viewport but zooming in and out, zooms the entire drawing. It does not zoom the Viewport. I double click outside the Viewport to Deactivate it. Make sure you do this with all your Layout tabs in all your Viewports. So we go to A3 Metric details here, we do the same again. Make sure you check your scales though as well, click on the Viewport, go down here it's 1 to 1 but to check that, see the blue dot there that indicates that its 1 to 1 is the current scale. Hit escape to deselect, it escape to deselect the Viewport again. Check this Viewport Scale, click on the Viewport it says 1 to 1 on the Status Bar, click on the Arrow if you want to change it, alittle blue dot here again indicates 1 to 1, hit Escape to deselect. Select the other Viewport now as well, make sure that both are selected, then it's a right click, display locked and Yes for both of those as well. So regardless of which one somebody accidentally double clicks in now, if they zoom in and out using the wheel it zooms the drawing in and out. Double click outside the Viewport to Deselect. Now make sure that you're in your in Home tab of H Layout tab here, A3 Metric details, click on the Utilities Panel, make sure you do a Zoom Extents like so. Click on the A3 Metric Landscape tab here and again, Utilities Panel, Zoom Extents. Same with the Model tab, Utilities Panel, Zoom extents, its good drafting etiquette to get into, because then when somebody opens up your drawing they can see what's going on straight away. We're going to leave A3 Metric Landscape as our default tab there before we go up to Save here, the Quick Save icon and Save the drawing.
