I am about to demonstrate how to create a multi-page PDF document which will complete the process of creating this architectural presentation portfolio. The main goal of this demonstration is to introduce and focus on a few options available in Adobe Acrobat Professional as they relate to this architectural endeavor. To learn more about Adobe Acrobat Pro, I highly recommend the VTC tutorials dedicated to this software title. On my screen I have the PDF document that will be the cover page. I will now add the other individual documents to this one to create the final portfolio. I want to show you two options, I'll begin with the first one. I'll go to the document pull down menu and select insert pages, I have collected the individual PDF files in one folder. I will now select one of the files. I will now click select. At the insert pages window I am going to insert this file after page one. I will now click OK. If I click the next page button on the status bar, I can see that the page was in fact inserted. I now have a two page PDF document. I want to continue and insert more pages. I will go back to the document pull down menu and select insert pages once again. This time I am going to select one file and then I'm going to hold down the control key and select the second file. I can now release the control key and click select. I am now inserting multiple files after Page two. I will now click OK. If I click the next page button on the status bar I can see that two pages were inserted. I now have a four page PDF document. I have one more file I wish to insert, this time I want to demonstrate the second option which I believe is easier then the first. I'm saving the best for last. This is the second option, I'm going to click on the Pages tab in the navigation pane to open the page thumbnails. Next I will open the folder containing the individual PDF files. Now I will simply click, drag and drop a file from the Windows folder to the Pages tab. I will now release the mouse button. It is that simple. I now have five pages in my multi-page PDF document. From the pages tab I can click, drag and drop pages and change the order. I can also right click the page and select delete pages. I will now click OK and OK once again. This is my complete PDF portfolio. Again this is an introduction to Adobe Acrobat Professional as it relates to the creation of this portfolio. If combine PDF files created with other programs such as Word, Excel and even AutoCAD into this document. The last step is to save the file as a new file name. I will now click save. I can now send the document electronically to the client or I can go to the window pull down menu and select full screen view to show the images as a slideshow. All of the files that you see here will be included in the tutorial.
