Let's start talking about the Configure Modifier Sets button in this movie. I have a simple Teapot. Let's select it. And let's click on this button over here: the Configure Modifier Sets. Let's go to the second option, which is Show Buttons and right now you can see that just before the selection modifiers I have a little arrow right here. So if I go to Show Buttons what's going to happen is it's going to show me all the Selection Modifiers. Now the reason some of them are grayed out is because these don't apply to the Teapot right now. If I go back you can see there are a bunch of other options. Let's say if I say give me Animation Modifiers Only. So these are different Animation Modifiers that can be applied on the Teapot. And how is it deciding. You saw in the earlier case, if I go back right now, and if I go to Selection Modifiers, you saw that there were a few buttons. But in the next case when I clicked on Animation Modifiers there were a lot of buttons. Well, you can do this by going to this button again and say Configure Modifier Sets. And this opens up. This is a really cool way of making your own little buttons that can be available any time for you. So let's say if you're working on that special project and if you want your own custom buttons to be displaying, those modifiers that you always use, let's do those. You can have up to 32 buttons over here. I'm just going to say six in this case, and let's say we're just going to drag and drop. So I'm going to have, on this Teapot, in this case I'm going to have let's say, a Bend. Let's come down over here. So you can pretty much select anything. A Noise. I'm also going to have, come all the way down. Let's see what else we can apply. I'm going to go down over here and let's say we can do a little Taper maybe. Let's let the Melt be there. And let's also do a Lattice, and let's say an FFD box in this case. I can name this one. So, I'll just call this Sandeep. And let's say Save. And I'll say OK. You can see right now these buttons are displaying and the whole reason behind that is because of the Show Buttons. If I want, I can turn it off any time, and I can display it any time. So you can have your own custom buttons for the modifiers. I can also go down over here, and this is the one that's selected. If I can go back I can say Show me Only the Selection Modifiers. So this way you can have your own custom buttons for your own particular task you're doing. So I can go back and say Sandeep, and these are all the buttons I made. And let's say if I want to use these, so right now if I want to apply Noise, let's give it some quick Noise over here to the Teapot, right there. And let's say if I want to Ð see I don't have to go to the Modifier List because these are available for me right now. I can quickly do, let's say a Melt, so I can quickly melt this object right here. Or I can do a Lattice in this case, and take down the Radius, and let's come back over here. And let's take down the Radius in this case. And that's Ð there you go. That's my Teapot. So, very important, the Configure Modifier Sets button. And again you can go back over here, Configure Modifier Sets. You can drag and drop anything. So you can make a bunch of sets in this case. So you can make a set for every different project you're doing. So let's say if you're working on an animation project you can have some custom buttons for Animation Modifiers, or some of the modifiers that you're going to use. Or you can have let's say if you're working on a modeling project and if you wanted some special modifiers for your modeling project you can have those custom buttons and you can name them accordingly. And if at any time you don't need anything you can just go here and delete them. So right now if I go back and don't show the buttons, if I go back, look how that Sandeep Set over here is gone. So, a really simple way of configuring your modifier sets.
