Subtitles of the Movie

Hello everyone. This is Dwayne Ferguson from Virtual Training Company, how are you doing? I was actually planning on doing this entire lesson, or little intro about what I do, as Edward James Olmos from Battlestar Gallactica, because he has such a cool voice. It was going to go like this: This is Edward James Olmos of the Battlestar Gallactica. What I want to do is introduce to you one of my favorite officers. Anyway. What I want to do is direct you to my website, which is Diehard Studio at diehardstudio.com, and just to talk about some of the things I've done in my career and what I do as a professional in the industry. I started my career out a long time ago with a comic book series called Hamster Vice, and those guys just don't know how to die, so they're back, and as you can see here I'm working on an iPhone game called Hamster Vice: Roach Wars, which is a real time strategy game. A lot of the things that I show in the Tutorials that I do I also use in my professional work, so the 3D models here, the texturing, everything, you can find on the Virtual Training website in different Tutorials, so if you're interested in doing a game or an animation or books, or anything, I'm pretty sure you can find something on the VTC website that will help you in that regard. So, some of the other things I work on are animations. I was also the art director of the animated cartoon on television called Mutant League, and you may have seen that show. You could check that out. Let's see here, let me just go to the action figures real fast, this is Bones Justice, I actually designed these toys as well. I don't have any, thanks. I wish I did. Oh, let's see, Mutant League, I'm also working on an animation based on Edgar Allen Poe's the Tell Tale Heart, so I'm working on that. You could check out the trailer here. What else am I doing here? I also work on different characters, such as Hamster Vice; Kid Caramel: Private Investigator; and Black Zero: Mercenary Ant. I also worked on a toy line called Snailiens, which is, ironically, based on Hamster Vice. So, I have a very varied career and that's something I always like to tell people to do as well. When you go to VTC and you watch the Tutorials find out which applications fit your strengths, and if you need to partner with someone for the other parts. For example, let's say you're a great designer, but you're horrible at website design. Well, see if you can find someone to work with. Let them do the hard stuff as far as programming the website, and you do all the great designs. So, just think creatively and always think outside the box. So hopefully some of the things I've shown you will motivate you and let you know that you can do anything you put your mind to.
