Subtitles of the Movie

This is Magic Garage Band and you can access this by going to the file menu and choosing new. Then you click this button right here to access Magic Garage Band. Now, what happens is you're presented with a stage, a curtain rather and then you'll see the instruments in just a moment. But for now, you get to choose a genre and then click the play button to see what it sounds like. (Music playing) So that's blues. We have rock, jazz, country. Let's hear some country. (Music playing) Woohoo! We have some reggae. (Music playing) We have funk. (Music playing) I can just see James Brown to that right now. We have Latin. (Music playing) Awesome. Roots rock (music playing) and slow Blues. Once you've gotten a feel for the genre that you'd like to experiment with, I'm going to choose funk. You click the audition button and then the curtains will peel back and you'll see the band. It takes a little while, by the way, for this to happen because it has to load all the instruments that you've selected for this particular song. Then once it's all done, you click the play button to hear the composition. (Music playing) Now, you're not stuck with that song or that sound because you can click on the instruments to change them. So if I hover my mouse, I see that I can change the guitar, the bass, the drums, the keyboard and the melody. To change it, click once on the instrument and choose a different style. So for this one I'm going to go for muted. For my bass I'm going to go for grooving, my drums percussion, my keyboard I'm going to go to the 70's suitcase and melody I'm going to go for, let's see, trumpet. Let's hear this sound came out this time. (Music playing) And the beautiful thing is you can keep changing this and playing around with it until you're happy. Let's try talk box. (Music playing) As you can imagine, it's a lot of fun. Now, you might notice that there is another light on the stage, this blank area. This is you, my friend. You can become a part of the band. When you click on the circle, you can choose vocals, grand piano, west coast, clave, funky rhythm and more. Now, if you want to sing along, choose vocals. If you want to play an actual instrument, feel free to do so as well. I'm going to choose vocals and don't worry, I am actually not going to sing. Then when I'm happy with it, I can click create project. All of the tracks will be assembled for me and then I can continue to modify it from there. So let's wait for just a moment while the song loads up and here we have our tracks. As you see, vocals is all ready for me to sing and I can preview my song as it is, once again by pressing the play button. (Music playing) And if you want to, you can even open up the old loop browser and add more to your song. You're never stuck with what you have here. You can continue to modify the song until you're completely happy with it. You can sing along, you can play along, but this is how you can make a music selection with Magic Garage Band.
