Now so far we've been dealing with text in two dimensions so even though we've added some effects to this, some optical illusions to make it looks like it exists in a three-dimensional space, it only is existing in two dimensions. But we can certainly change that. That's what Motion is all about, at least in part, dealing with three-dimensions. So let's do that. Let's build some text and even animate that text in a three-dimensional space. How are we going to do that? Well, first of all let's get out our Project Pane and let's add a Camera. So it'll automatically prompt us to switch to 3D. We could have done this before, of course, as you've seen previously, and now we've got a Camera that is shooting this scene in a three-dimensional space. I'm going to take my Group and make sure that my 3D Transform Tool is enabled. First of all, that's new Text. I'm going to take that Raiders text out of there and just add some new stuff. And let's go to this frame for example, and now let's either use this 3D Transform Tool here, or we can use the Heads-Up Display and let's rotate this scene away from the Camera a little bit. Let's move it back and move it over and now, take a look at what the Camera is shooting. So, again, let's rotate it there, I'll make another fine-tune adjustment or two, I'm going to make this Project Pane go away to make our job a little bit easier. So now we've got a picture that exists in a three-dimensional space like so. Now what do I want to do? Now I want to add some text. So I'm going to go ahead and select the Text Tool and then put this, again, anywhere, and type in my text. And you can see that some of it didn't even show and that's because it again exists in a three-dimensional space. So now I'm going to move this around. I'm going to start to move this around so that it exists in front, behind, and so on because now I've got this picture that has been turned in three dimensions. I'm going to do the same thing so that the text exists in the same plane as the picture. Now how am I going to do that? I'm going to either drag the rotation handles that you can see here, or I can use the Heads-Up Display and accomplish the same thing. You can also use the Inspector, of course, but let's go ahead and move this thing kind of out in front of my Background picture. Let me rotate it so it exists roughly within the same plane, and then let me kind of position it into place, like so. Now I've got something that exists in three-dimensions and I can kind of double-check my handiwork here by continuing to rotate the Camera around as you can see, like so. And then Reset my View here with the Active Camera. And now that you've got text that exists in three dimensions you're ready to add a three dimensional behavior to that text. So again, with it selected you can go to your Library and under your Behaviors of Text Sequences, here's your 3D Move Behaviors and again, what do you want to do here? How about Twirling In. Alright, so let's apply it, and now you can kind of play through and see what that would look like. What about Space Tumble? Want to try that one? Space Tumble, let's Apply that, so now you've, in fact, got two behaviors at once, something like that. And now you can check your handiwork by looking at the Project Pane. Now you've got several things happening at once here and you can look at these things one at a time and then adjust their properties or you can select them all and if you just want to reduce the duration, if you want this text to fly in a little more quickly then you can set your Out Point there, for example, and now the effect happens more quickly. If you want to look at it without the Overlays all you have to do is Command /and those overlays go away so now once again we get a pretty good feel for what that effect is going to look like, so it's got a nice 3D effect and you can actually see these letters fly in, in three-dimensional space. So if you finally want to spice up the letters a little bit more remember that you should have a Text Style saved, so if you want to apply that text style to the text all you have to do once again is go find that style that you've saved. There's the Slideshow Preset. We're just going to drag and drop that right onto the Text Layer, and now we've got text that looks like this. It's in a three-dimensional space and we've got some three-dimensional behaviors that have been added.
