The next thing I would do is to create File, Save and I'll give it a name as upload to VTC, where, in my desktop. File format, now I can opt to save this as a Workflow or as an Application. If I save it as a Workflow then I have to reopen it within Automator but that gives me the ability to Edit anything I need to edit and then I can Run it from within Automator as well or I can save it as Application in which case I double click on it in order to run it. You'll notice perhaps in that in the File Menu there was also an option to Save as a Plug-In, you would do that primarily for Import Automator Workflows, whereas the Applications are more often Export Workflows. Let's run the workflow that we've created. Now I know its going to run into a problem because I haven't set-up the last step all the way, however you'll get the idea. In a minute its going to list my albums here and I'll Choose one and then click on Continue and you can see that its busy processing the additional steps, right now it's exporting the versions, now it's zipping it and here's where it's going to run into a problem where it gives me the Error Message because I didn't fill out this step all the way. If I had it would have gone ahead and uploaded them. Now you might notice that there is a Record Button and you might begin wondering what that's about. In order to use that you need to use the Universal Access Options in your Preferences Folder. You can create and run Automator Workflows strictly with doing it the way we just did it, by dragging them in, setting the parameters, saving the workflow and running it. If you find that there is certain steps that you do repeatedly consider creating Automator Actions for them to save yourself time and energy.
