Subtitles of the Movie

Possibly you've noticed this Zoom Level here where it says Fit. Well, if I just use the drop-down there I can make that 50 percent. I could make that 10 percent. I could make that 150 percent, whatever I want it to be. If I don't need to see much of the actual clip itself I could take that down to 25 percent, or 10 percent. If I really have great eyes, can't see a real reason why I'd want to do that, certainly not with my eyes anyway, so I'll take that now to Fit and that makes the actual video clip itself automatically fit inside this Program Monitor. Now, related to this, if I have a clip involved on my Timeline - and I'll just grab one, one of these movie files, I'll just take that one onto the Timeline there - if I've got a clip like this one on the Timeline that was filmed at a slightly lower pixel dimension than the full resolution of 720 by 576 that I have set up as a Default being the PAL format, well, this movie clip was filmed at, I think it was 480 by 640, or the other way round, rather. If we look up into the Project Monitor up here it's 640 by 480 pixels, well that's not quite 720 by 576. Well, if I want Premiere Pro to automatically increase this pixel ratio so that it fits my Sequence settings just right-click on it there and go up to Scale to Frame Size and I'll just click there and now automatically Premiere Pro has upscaled it for me. I'll go to the beginning of the Sequence. Occasionally you might want one of those synthetic media video clips generating so you've got a Counting, one of those universal Countings that sometimes you see at the cinema. If you want one of those just come over here to this button, the New Item button, drop down to Universal Counting Leader there and we'll just set up to this Default and I'll just click OK and I'll click OK again, there we go. And now we've generated a new clip here. I'll just take it over to the Source Monitor and there it is and if you played this back you would see these different numbers counting down for us. OK, I'll just close that. Let me just remove a couple of these Tracks; that one - clips rather, not tracks - and I'll go up to here and I'll just grab one of these video clips and just place it onto the Timeline. I'll just remove these tracks I don't need. There we go and I'll just reduce the length of that, I don't need it to be that long. Now, we've already seen with the Razor Tool, if I just click anywhere at random on this Video Track 2 here, then Video Track 2, this clip Bridge 1, gets split in half as does the Audio there. But how do I use the Razor Tool to cut all clips on the Timeline at exactly the same place? Well, one method, hold down your Shift key and Ctrl and then click and then automatically right down there at that position we get the clips razored there. Alternatively, just place your CTI in the Timeline, perhaps there and just press Shift-Ctrl-K on your keyboard and perhaps there again, Shift-Ctrl-K. OK, so that's the shortcut. Right? So, those are a few tips and tricks that we could use to help us when we are creating our movie. OK, good one. I'll leave it here for now and I'll see you in the next sequence of tutorials.
