Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 Tutorials

Introduction / Online Resources pt. 2

Subtitles of the Movie

Right, well, it's all done and back on the Homepage I can click the relevant program, in this case Premiere Pro CS5, to open the Help Guide. Now, by clicking any of these Chapter links reveals pertinent information related to what we click, in this case, What's New. Scroll down and up to read all about what's new in Premiere Pro CS5. Clicking the Right Arrow button here moves you forward to the next available Chapter and, again, until you find the chapter required. I'll click Home now. Speaking of navigating through Chapters, if we want to search for a topic very quickly use this straightforward Search field to enter a search term and use the drop-down to pick the relevant program. This is likely to always be Premiere Pro in our case because that's the program we are using, but could occasionally be another linked program such as After Effects or Soundbooth. We'll go back to Premiere Pro and search for all references in this Help Guide for the term tapeless. Before we search we could click this Reveal arrow to filter our search parameters to either just Premiere Pro or the whole Creative Suite. Now this provides the option to search all CS5 documents at once rather than just choosing one program up here and now when I click Enter on my keyboard I get all these references from within the Premiere Pro Guide that contain the word tapeless. OK, so that's how the Adobe Help Community System Guide helps us and guides us to find any information that we might require. OK, good one. Let's leave it here for this tutorial.
