Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 Tutorials

Introduction / New Features

Subtitles of the Movie

Let me now give you a quick look at some of the new features of the CS3 version of Premiere Pro. The biggest upgrade is perhaps the fact that Premiere Pro is again, available for both Windows and Mac OS X. Mac users now have another option for creating demanding, professional-level video projects. Another big change is that Adobe Encore, a stand-alone professional level DVD authoring tool, is now included with Premiere Pro CS3. Encore has also been upgraded to version CS3. Work with the same Encore authoring interface and futures, but now, in addition to creating standard definition DVDs, you can also author Blue Ray disks or automatically convert HD Blue Ray disk projects into standard definition DVDs. Adobe On Location, the single monitoring application bundled with Premiere Pro CS3, lets you review shots, log clips during your shoot, calibrate your camera, check levels, and much, much more. You can avoid problems and improve quality on location with its virtual reference monitor, comprehensive wave form monitor, vector scope, and audio spectrum analyzer. This last requires Boot Camp for Mac OS X. Adobe CS3 has improved slow motion capabilities. You can create slow and fast motion effects without exporting clips to another application. Use precise keyframe control, real time feedback, and advanced frame blending quality to change speed slowly or quickly or make a clip run backwards before resuming normal forward motion like this video clip here. You can also publish DVD projects to the Web. Premiere Pro now creates Flash versions of DVD and Blue Ray disk projects for publishing to the Web. Use Encore to create Flash content, complete with DVD interactivity and menus without learning Flash programming. Premiere Pro CS3 has improved file search capabilities. Its search tools instantly update the results list as you type, sort and organize assets into multiple project panels, each with its own graphical or text view setting. Adobe has also improved Premiere Pro's editing efficiency. You no longer have to wait for audio to render when working with nested sequences. You can also replace any clip in the timeline with a new clip while preserved the replaced clip's attributes, filters, and settings. Adobe has upgraded its output delivery options. Encode video for delivery to cell phone, portable media players, and other mobile devices. Check playback through emulations of the interface, screen size, and data rate of specific popular devices. You can also download profile updates to simulate the latest devices as they are released. In addition to outputting Flash-based DVD, Premiere Pro now exports direct Flash FLV videos for Web playback. With direct Flash video export, the Adobe Premiere Pro Timeline markers become Flash cue points that trigger interactivity and navigation. And finally, Premiere Pro CS3 includes broader format support. Edit the Progressive HDV formats and frame rates found in new cameras from Canon, Sony, and JVC. Work with emerging camera formats through the wide range of third party products, both software and hardware optimized to work with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3.
