Alright, let's think outside the box. Let's go into the twilight zone. Cue the music please. -Laughs- Let's take a look at some true, some true creativity here. We're going to do something kind of bizarre, alright? Now, we've got this image. Looks pretty normal. We're going to right click, Edit in Photoshop and we're going to let that open and we're going to go back to Lightroom, we're going to add the Old Photos Preset and then we're going to go Gritty and Grungy. Let's go in the other direction. There we go. That's what I'm looking for. OK. Now, we're going to do it again. We're going to open it in Photoshop again and then we're going to get a copy image that opens right beside it. OK. We have these two images and we're going to take this image and move it into this image. Hold down the Shift Key, left click, drag, release and then we have another layer that's added on top of our original. Now, assuming you have your guides to snap, you pull these into alignment, go down to your background image, establish a copy or rather Control J, establish a copy, kill your background layers so your only dealing with the two copies. Come up here and now watch this. You got these stacked up on top of each other, right? Now we start playing with blend modes. Color Dodge; there's one effect. How about Linear Dodge? And, you know, we're not passing judgment on whether these are right or wrong. We're just looking at experiments with the blend modes. That's kind of interesting. Overlay and then you can adjust the opacity on these as you see fit. Pin Light. Wow. Now that is interesting. I like that. That's the first time I've seen that. And I'm just experimenting. We're just looking at different stuff. Some of it's better than others. Now, this Lighten, all it affected was the bottom area, the very bright shirt that she had on. Here's Screen. Let's see. Color Dodge; I think we saw that one already. Difference, adjust the opacity. I hope this is getting your creative juices flowing because that's what it's meant to do. Some of these changes are very, very slight. So there you have it. Using the blend modes from what you import from Lightroom. I mean, can you see now that the creativity that you have available to you is unlimited? Absolutely 100 percent without limitation and that's the key. Get in here, play, experiment and see what works for you. Do whatever it takes to reinvent the wheel. And so that's how to use Photoshop to its fullest extent with Lightroom.
