We're down to our last two functions in the Library module and those would be Quick Develop and the Histogram. Now, let's take a look at Quick Develop, and that's exactly what it is. It's a thumbnail, broad stroke attempt to give you some ability to make large changes. Why you would want to do that, I don't know, but it's here if you want to use it. About the best thing that can be said for Quick Develop is that you're able to add on some presets, if you want to take a look, see how some of those look. The white balance is pretty much useless. It doesn't even have the eyedropper to let you go in and adjust the white balance automatically. All you can do is click on these arrows to make things warmer or darker. I just don't see a whole lot of use for those. I would much rather go to the Develop module and do it that way. Same thing with Tone Control, Exposure Recovery, Fill Light, Black, all of that is, you know, click on it, make it work. It's just a very, very quick and dirty color adjustment on your image, or luminance adjustment, whichever, you know, you feel like you need. The Histogram, on the other hand, is really a brilliant move for Adobe to put that in the Library section because, as you scan through your images, you know, when you first get them in, you're just looking at them for overall appeal and what the technical situation is on your images, and I think these are pretty much, for the most part, properly exposed, I would say, but if you had a question about it, then you've got the histogram there to help you. Now, there is room to increase the dark areas of the image, give yourself a bit more contrast, but by and large, on a broad stroke basis, these images are well exposed. Let's take a look at some of the RAW images, see how these look. A little under, which I would rather be under than over. These are slightly underexposed. That's acceptable. So having the histogram here is a very valuable tool for quickly assessing how you did on your shoot. Those are the last two sections in the Library module. We're going to move next into the Develop module in Lightroom 2.0.
