Now, if you're not in the mood to build your own presets, then go to Google and search the term Lightroom Presets and you'll come up with, let's see; 798,000 responses for that search term and if we look at only the first page, we see that there's quite a bit here to wade through. So let's take a look at a couple of examples and this is a commercial company that is in business to provide plug-ins for Photoshop and Lightroom. They also manufacturer or rather make actions, they make Lightroom presets and they sell them and the big kahuna product for them is this Photo Frame 4. It is really nice, though. Its, you know, it's got quite a bit in it; 1100 frames to choose from and it works with Lightroom 2 or with Aperture. Two-hundred and sixty dollars. Of course, a couple of weddings, obviously, will pay for this, but you know, it's a commercial product and I'm sure it's very, very good. If you don't want to spend that much money, you can go to this guy's site and he's giving them away. Now, granted, they are nowhere near as sophisticated as the commercial product, but it's here if you want it. Let's just take one here. This one called Cross Process 4 and we click on it and we download the file into my pre-existing Presets Directory and once that's done then we go here and this is how to install presets. Import, go to the Presets Directory and I've already downloaded some so let's take this one. Import and it's as simple as that. The minute it comes in, it gives you an application and from there we can make all the adjustments we want. Now we can take this image, let's just play around here a little bit. Add that to it, drop the exposure. -Laughs- That's a bit over the top but it's fun to play with. Let's go back to the original. Good old Tracy would love me for this. Get old photos, see how that looks and there you have it. You know, just fun to play around with and see what kind of effects that you can build and expand upon and adjust for your own uses. But there's a whole world of Lightroom presets out there to examine, explore, download and use.
