This is a photograph from a mid-priced digital camera of the High Sierra Volunteer Trail Crew and the thing we wanted to do on this photograph is get rid of the shiny cheeks and reflections. We also have a situation where the blue shirt and the red shirt are really overpowering in terms of color and we want to correct that just a bit, not a whole lot but just enough to kind of bring everything else into balance. We've got nice even skin tones here, really great skin tones and then everything else is kind of darker in the background. So these two colors are just really just kind of grabbing the picture and we do not want that to happen. So the first thing we are going to do is we are going to take Deborah and we are going to use the, let us try the patch tool, see what happens when we do that. I think it is going to work pretty well. I knew it would. Now here we got a little bit of a problem because we have the reflection going right into her eyebrows which we want to kind of ease around. Where are we going to put this? Let's put it right there and that worked out rather well, and then we just take the healing brush to do the rest. We are going to sample from right there, perfect. I am sure she won't mind if I take these wrinkles out. Now let's see what we are going to do about these lips, take a little bit of shine out of there. Here we go, he doesn't have a whole lot going on here, didn't shine too much but there is a little bit where we can do. Take that nose off maybe down here and on the chin; let's do something with some of these facial marks. Let us do one thing to Allen here, clean him up just a little bit; this little area down here, we can clean that up. I love this patch tool. Once you learn how to use it, it is the greatest thing in the world, especially for the eyes. And let us do something about this wrinkle and now let's redo this because that was screwed up a minute ago. Done over there, took twenty years off his appearance and then we spiff up just a little bit with the healing brush, smooth things out, equal them out some. Now take a little bit of the shine off the area, that didn't go well at all, did it? Okay, that will do it for the faces. Stay tuned, don't touch that dial. We are going to come back and deal with the colors in the shirts, just like we talked about.
