Okay, very quickly let us take a look at the hue control and see what it can do. Do not pay attention to what this photograph is; we are going to work with this image later in the tutorial when we start talking about repairing images; it is an antique photo obviously, but just so that I will have something to demonstrate this process for you. Let us take a look at the hue saturation control, we have seen what saturation can do. Lightness you use in very, very highly specialized situations, but the hue just controls the overall tonal appearance. Basically, just like it works on your TV set, there is green, there is blue, there is yellow, this is supposed to be properly balanced. This is red and then blue, magenta or whatever it is. You can see as we slide that thing, how it affects the image and you know if we are going to do all this then I will use the variations control which we saw just a bit ago, but that is hue for better or worse. You can make use of it if you want. Anyway the hue control color correction method, it is yours to mess with it as you see fit. I never use it, but there it is.
