Alright we have got our color adjustment about where I think we are going to probably end up leaving it, so we will save that and we will establish another adjustment layer, the saturation, hue saturation adjustment layer, and we are going to adjust the color saturation and just by a way of demonstration, move to the right and you increase the chromience, which I guess is the technical term for the effect. But we are going to increase the color saturation up to here and then of course, we can eliminate it completely by taking it a black and white image by simply dragging it all the way to the left and then there are different areas in between. Zero, of course, is without any adjustments, but this particular shot needs to be taken out just a bit. It is just a bit too bright so we bring it down to about a eleven and again you do this until you think it looks right. This is what it is all about, so take it to about ten, leave it there and we are going to save that and you know after we have finished with this, I am not sure we ought not go back to the color balance control, if we add just a bit of red; let's do something to the highlights that is about right, before and after, before and after. Tthat is a little bit too contrasty, don't you think? That is better, much better. That looks about as good as it is going to look, it's a little bit sad we took the blue out of her eyes though, I would like to have selected those out. You know these are things to pay attention to and we will get into selections and how to adjust the colors of specific areas of the image later, and of course this image is not finished by any means, we have sharpening to do, we have adjustments yet to do, we have some of the blemished areas of her chin and in here we have got a bit of wrinkle action, take out these bags and I mean no skin is perfect. I tell you what, I picked up a magazine, looking at an article on Heidi Klum and there was this huge picture of Heidi Klum, full face, very close up shot, and I was looking for the skin imperfections and whoever had that image in Photoshop, and did those adjustments, did a wonderful job of it, I mean even to the point of making her look not even like a human being. I mean her skin was so perfect, I mean the pores of her skin were there, there wasn't a single blemish anywhere and to me that does not look natural. There is a point at which you make these adjustments that the model or your subject does not even look real anymore. That is what you do not want to do; it is really hard to strike the balance between improving the photograph and then taking it beyond and improving to make it not even natural, not even enjoyable, and I think that sometimes in these high fashion shops where they do the touch ups on some of these Photoshops, they go a little too far with that stuff. But just be careful about going too far and doing too much to your image. So let us go forward now and finish some of the other color adjustments that we can do and really let this photograph look good.
