Let us begin now with our color adjustments on Leah and we are going to take you through the steps that we have learned so far. I am going to crop this and bring it up to side, let us take a look at what the levels control, I know you have seen this before, but I want to demonstrate this to you again and we hit the auto button and we do not see too much, because it already has information about the upper ends of the tonal spectrum right here and the auto button reacts first to the tonal ranges and then it makes auto color and auto contrast adjustments afterwards. So since we have information here it is not going to do too much. But what we are seeing here is what is right here. Okay, we've got to get rid of that, we want to see what the auto button can do, we've got to kind of get rid of that in terms of what the auto button is going to sample. So the way we do that is go up here, we can load our lasso tool, we are going to make a selection, it does not have to be terribly precise but we are going to segregate her face out of this image, that is feather, that is set about to five, that is about right, then we go back and see what the auto button will do. And that is better than it was, but I do not like it, but you can see the adjustment finally was rendered after we got rid of this bright area here. Because what happened, I will just take that out, what happened, see we eliminated that light area here which is represented in the histogram here, we took it out and so the auto button was able to react and then make the adjustment it thought needed to be done. We can start from there and move forward, but that just does not look like we want it to end up. So anyway, that is what the auto button will do to this particular picture, but we do not start from there, just so you know, I mean we also always start with the auto button just to see what it will do, because it can save you so much work going down the road.
