Let us turn our attention now to the faces of this antique photograph and see what, you know, large things we can do to correct these faces, get that smudge out at some point right there. Let us start right here, we will use the clone stamp tool here and just simply dab those out of the way, go straight forward. Rather than mess with this eye, I think what we are going do is just replace it, take this eye right here, that is better, looks is a whole lot better than it did. Before and after, zoom out and see what we've got, not bad. Alright, let us go see grandma, Grandma Hawkins. Let's get her picture, nothing really hugely major here, but a few little dabs and corrections can be made. Be careful what you are shading in areas like this, you've got different shading, the face to pay attention to, you don't want to disturb the flow of the lighting and we are going to take care of this little gash down here in just a second. I am trying to get the simple stuff first, I need to darken that eyebrow just a bit, one more pass and I think that will just about do it. Now let's work on this. Here is a little trick, this is going to get tricky, sample from here over to here, there, what do you think? I took care of it, that's what I'm talking about with that shading, clicking in the areas that are not matching your shading and you will get a bad result. You get carried away, I mean you can just wander all around these photographs and start taking care of stuff, see if I can do, let's use this. It's the healing brush, this will spot me alright there. Let's see what we've got, I might be inclined to just leave it. If you can't get a good result, just leave it, leave it alone. It isn't worth messing with, anyway that is Grandma's face,; it looks a lot better, doesn't it? And Grandpa, I will come back and do a little bit more just to really, really tweak him up, but he is really looking pretty good.
