Now, you've seen me use the Background and Foreground Color Tool in previous lessons. Let's take a closer look at it now and let me show you exactly what it does and what it's for. Now, this is the foreground. We're down here on the bottom of the Toolbar. This is the foreground element and this is the background and you'll notice the background is white and if we come up here and we establish a new blank workspace, the background contents are on the background color. Now, let's get rid of that. We'll change the background color to, say, let's call it green, establish a new workspace and we indicate the background color as the new workspace color and we click it and we see that that is indeed green. Now, we can switch it from, we can switch this color, rather, from the background color to the foreground color. So we hit this, let's delete this one, come up here, new workspace and indeed we see where it is black because we've switched it. Let's get rid of it. Now, the other thing the foreground color does, as we have seen in previous lessons, is it deposits the color Paint Bucket Tool, deposits the color that's in the foreground. Click on it, takes a minute and there you have its green. If you wanted to change the color, click on the square, let's turn it blue and we hit the Paint Bucket and there it is. It'll be blue. We can switch it, click it and it'll be black. Conversely, if we switch it and we go to a new workspace, it'll be blue. So that's how you do the Foreground and Background Color Tool.
