Let me share with you some websites that I think you'll find invaluable in your further education in all things Photoshop as well as the much needed inspiration that us artists crave. First off I'll start with the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, also known as NAP, and the website is photoshopuser.com I've been a member of this organization for a long time. It's only about a hundred bucks to join, plus you get the great magazine. There are also tutorials in both text and video format, discounts on all kinds of great software and devices such as cameras, the magazine, which is Photoshop User, and the membership includes the magazine, by the way. This part right here might interest some of you guys. This is a portfolio, which means that you can put your own artwork up on the NAP website and send a link to anyone you'd like, so you can have a home for your online portfolio right here. There's also a Help Center and Forms, where you can post questions as well as answers to help other people regarding Photoshop, so definitely check out the photoshopuser.com website. PhotoSpin, this is where I've been getting all those great images in addition to the ones I've taken myself, so that we could do these tutorial lessons, so PhotoSpin is going to be a great resource for people who want to find photography in artwork that would be a great basis for your own artwork. So you can come here, find things to use as a background then add text to; there are memberships for this as well as, I believe, the ability to purchase individual pieces of artwork. cgtalk@cgsociety.org is really a great resource for anyone who wants to learn more about digital art. You can learn about Photoshop, Maya, ZBrush Ð everything's here, so just check it out. CGSociety, as you see here I'm on the Photoshop Forum currently, and once again check this out for sure. Another resource for people who want to find images that won't cost you any money, burningwell.org. This is a public domain image source. The way it works is you can use the artwork or the images here in your own artwork and you can upload images here as well for others to use. So, check it out at burningwell.org. AdobeTV, another great resource, and this one is provided by Adobe. Here is the address: tv.adobe.com. Really fun tutorials here that you can watch in video format, just really very well produced and exciting, and all kinds of good stuff, but hey, it's Adobe, check it out for sure. And I want to give a shout out to who I think is one of the most amazing Photoshop artists on the entire planet earth, Bert Monroy. Bert's been using Photoshop since literally the very first version, so of course probably no one on earth knows more about Photoshop than Bert Monroy. So, check him out at bertmonroy.com. Hey, Bert, you could send me a check for five hundred dollars, man. I'm just joking. I don't even know Bert, but I do have a couple of his books and he's awesome. So, here are some of the websites for you guys, check them out, and if you want to find even more just go to Google or your favorite search engine and enter Photoshop Tutorials, or Photoshop Resources, or anything to find even more websites to add to your Bookmarks.
