For this Web Photo Gallery lesson we're going to head on back to our friend the Adobe Bridge because in one of its workspaces we have this Output Module that allows us to create a website. So for you photographers out there who don't know how to use HTML, or don't have any real Web experience, Adobe's your friend. So, let's go to the Bridge if you don't have it open, and then in your Workspaces choose the Output Workspace. Now, Currently, I have some photographs selected. As you see I have this cat. So I'm going to go to Preview real fast to show you that what I did was in my Content Panel in the Open Folder, which is the cat, Everest, I have these images selected. So when I click Refresh Preview it adds those images up here into the Output Preview. Now, what I'm going to do is Ð let me go ahead and slide this over a little bit so we can see these controls. You want to make sure that you're on the Web Gallery Output Module. Here you can choose a Template, so I'll go ahead and choose Left Filmstrip. Then I can choose a Thumbnail size, so I could choose Medium Thumbnail or Large Thumbnail, and by the way you could choose from quite a wide variety of these templates here, so if you want to choose a Lightroom Flash Gallery choose that, and then your style will change. So I'll go ahead and choose something like Night Life. Now you may be asking yourself why don't I see anything changing? Well, don't forget, this is an Output Module and we're not actually having interactive previews as we work. We have to click this button to Refresh the Preview to see what we're going to wind up with once the module outputs to the Web. So, once again I'm going to go ahead and collapse what I don't need to see, and this is what people are going to see when they go online. They have this filmstrip and they can use it to click on an image, which will then be magnified over here. Then you're going to also click this Mode to change the view. They can also click this button here to Start the filmstrip. They can Pause it, and they can click here. So, let's talk about some other information that you want to have in your website. Well, as you see up here in our Output Preview is this Adobe Web Gallery, well, unless you're Adobe, you're going to want to change that. So I'm going to go and go to Site Info and where it says Site Title I'm going to change this to Hunter Gallery, and that's my nickname pretty much, Hunter. And for the Collection Title I can say My Cat or My Kitten. For the Collection Description I already have something called Photos of the world's coolest kitten. So where is this information going to show up? Well, I'm going to Refresh the Preview, give it a couple seconds, and then this is Hunter Gallery now, and I can click where it says View About this Gallery, Photos of the world's coolest kitten, which comes from the Collection Description. I'll go back to View, Gallery. I could also go to View, Slideshow. So I have lots of options here. The way it works in the Output Preview is how it's going to work online. Let me go ahead and scroll down. You can also place your Contact Information, your E-mail Information, Copyright Information, which of course is always important, and you can choose different colors. So if you want your text to be a different color from this gray, click on this swatch one time, choose a color, hit OK, and what I like to change as well is, let's see here, I like to change the border sometimes and sometime I like to change the header, but I'll leave those as they are for now. Once again, once you're finished what you have to do is hit Refresh Preview, give it a second to do its thing, and you can also preview this in a real Web browser. So I'm going to click Preview in Browser and it's going to open up my Firefox and this is what people are going to see. This really works as it's going to work online. So the slider works, I can now preview the images. I see that it says My Kitten. I can click here for Contact Name. I can view the Slideshow, the Gallery, About this Gallery. And I'm going to go back to the Bridge and show you the most important part Ð how to actually get this online. Of course, you're going to have to have a real web account with somebody, so you're going to have to have an On Ramp, or an Internet Provider. I use a company called One In One, and what we can do here is we could save this Gallery to Disk if you want to, or if you're going to upload it to a website, you have to put your information, your File Transfer Protocol, so you have to put your Server information, your User Name, and your Password, and if you want the Bridge to remember the password, just click here so you don't have to enter it again. Then you can choose a folder that you want this to go to and click Upload. And once you're done, people will be able to check out your Web Gallery that you created inside of the Adobe Bridge.
