Now, the Crop Tool is a subject that falls under a broader subject and cropping and there's a number of different ways to crop an image and using the Crop Tool is one of them. Now, admittedly, 95 percent of your crops are going to use this tool, so here's how it works in basic terms. And again, we'll cover this tool in detail in other lessons. Crop tool is located here. You click on it and you'll notice these blanks that come up. I would recommend you leave these blank through your initial cropping just so that you can see how things were. You place it on your image, you drag a box around however you want to crop. You can position and then to invoke it, you double click on it. But notice here the areas outside the area that you want to crop are darker and you can adjust this area. You can take it all the way dark if you want to or you can take it, you know, to whatever opacity you want to. I usually leave it, you know, between 80 and a hundred so I can see it. Then you double click on the area inside the area you want to crop and that's how you do the Crop Tool. That's going to be about 95 percent of your crops and again, we'll cover the complete area of cropping in subsequent lessons.
