Hello everyone this is Dwayne Ferguson from the Virtual Training Company and I just want to take a tour of some of the things we covered in this Photoshop CS3 training tutorial. But first of all I want to thank Adobe for really making Photoshop amazinger. That's right I made up a new word, amazinger, because it really does add a lot of features that are now you know we simply can't live without them. Because Adobe they keep doing it, they keep coming up with stuff that we didn't think we needed and now we need it thank-you. So we talked about the new interface, we talked about how fast Adobe Photoshop CS3 launch is in comparison to older versions. We talked about the new interface, the new panels slash palettes and how customizable the interface is. We dealt with the new bridge and how cool that is as far as organizing your images and finding images to work with whether from Adobe's stock photos or from within your own hard drive or even cooler straight from your digital camera by downloading right from the camera to your computer. We also talked about a lot of the new smart things in Photoshop. Smart objects, smart sharpen, smart filters, which is probably my favorite thing. I apply a lot of filters and I like to be able to go back in at anytime and change them, really makes me happy so pretty much Photoshop is giving you a non destructible environment to play around with adjustment layers now. With smart objects, with smart filters, it's just a great place to come and experiment without having to worry about messing up too much unless you do one thing, this. If you save by mistake and you saved over your original then that's bad news. So sometimes guys please do me a favor, save as, so if this is cabin1 go to file save as after every you know half hour cabin2, cabin3 that way if you mess up or if your computer crashes you can always jump back to cabin2 and just do 30 minutes work to catch up to where you were instead of starting from the very beginning. So that's a key thing. In your layers by the way always make a duplicate uh folder if you need to so you can always have a back up folder or just make back up layers. Even though Photoshop let's you work pretty much you know hands off with, without worrying about messing up too much its still up to the user to make sure you uh made the environment safe for yourself as far as not destroying your original image. So always make a back up. OK that infomercial is done. Let's talk about some of the other features. We talked about zoomify which will take your high quality images and create HTML code for you so that you can have people visit your website and look at the full size image by zooming in on it. We talked about some of the cool alignment features so you can have Uncle Bob looking off in the distance in one picture and looking straight ahead but his eyes are closed in one and you can align the images together and make Uncle Bob pay attention for once. So the alignment is really cool in that regard as well plus it's friend which is the auto blend. When you can blend pixels from more then one image together to make a seamless transition. We also talked about the new quick select tool, this guy right here and how cool that works hand and hand with refine edge. Which by the way works with any uh selection tool. And we talked about masks of course which still to this day confuse people and it took me a very long time to get the concept myself so don't worry about that one. Talked about how to use the pen tool and all the shapes and things like that. And we also talked about of course the cool vanishing point, the new way to work with vanishing point which really, really is very amazing in and of itself. Talked about liquefy which is still on my top five list of favorite things in the world. We talked about the camera raw interface and all of the new tools associated with that feature by itself, camera raw could once again take up an entire tutorial. And we also talked about actions which allow you to record your steps in Photoshop and then taking those actions and turning them into droplets which are self contained mini applications. And last but not least we learned how to, you and I, heal the world with the healing tools. So now one day at a time we can make this world a better less blemishy place. So once again on behalf of Virtual Training Company this is Dwayne Ferguson, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I hope to see you again on the Virtual Training Website.
