If you want to change the fonts that you're going to be working with it's very easy to do. I'm going to also show you how to see a preview of your font as you see here. I have the name of my font or my type face and I can see an example as to what it would look like in my actual document. So if I choose Rosewood I can click, Howdy, and I can then grab my move tool and then move it into position. I can also change the color very easily by double clicking down here, see in the layers, we see the name of whatever we typed as well as this T here which tells us this is still live type and editable. So I can double click on the T and I can change the color right here in this list here. I can go to my swatch change it to whatever I like and now I've changed that font. What I can also do is I can go to my uh preferences and I can change how the type is going to look in the actual dialog. So I can choose to see the font preview or not and then when I go back to this list here, let me go ahead and double click again, and I go to the menu I don't see a preview. I personally find the preview very, very handy so I can see exactly what I'm going to get when I choose this font instead of guessing. So I'm gonna go back to my preferences and turn that on again. So let me go ahead and turn that back on which I think is very important, especially for a designer. You don't want to spend all day trying to figure out what your font looks like. And now I can show you also how you can change the color of just one letter or an entire word. So once again double click on the T in your layers and once you do that you initialize the type tool again and you can change any part of this document or sentence. So I can go ahead and grab the WD, click on the swatch, change the color and I can even change the font. So I can grab the H and change the font entirely. It's something completely different. As well as change the scale of that as you see here it only goes to 72 point but you can also type your own number and hot enter or return on the keyboard and now you've changed the entire thing. And just one more little hint I want to show you, once you have the text deselected you can also scale it with just the command or control T function which would give you the free transform tools. So I can squash and stretch the text and it's gonna take a little while to update so I'm gonna hit enter or return and give it a couple of seconds. And it's going to update and squish the text down for me and resize it. So you have a lot of options when it comes to changing the font and changing the colors when your working with type in your documents.
