You can create some very interesting compositions by cloning one image into another one and as you see here I have this biker whose just enjoying a nice serene day on the mountain and I have the space shuttle launching. Now how cool would it be to have the space shuttle launching in the background in the trees and stuff while she's enjoying her uh mountain trail. So what I am going to do is on this image I'm going to create a brand new layer because that's the beauty of cloning. We can clone on a separate layer and not damage the pixels in this image and by the way the advantage of course of doing that is that we can use the other tools such as a layer mask and the erasure tool to fix this image once we bring it in here. So I'm gonna choose this image, I'm gonna make sure I have my clone stamp tool selected and I'm going to alt or option click in the space shuttle image to select a region that I'm going to clone. Then I'm gonna come over to this image here and decide where I am gonna paint and I'm gonna choose right around here and I'm gonna paint the space shuttle right in the background. So she's enjoying a nice quiet day and all of a sudden this sound of hey, what's this, what's up with the rocket boosters in the background and you know we have all these thrusts and all this crazy stuff going on here and I'm gonna keep going and add all this fun stuff until I am happy with how it is blending. And the cool thing once again is you don't have to be exactly too careful because you are working with two separate images and you can take your time and clone it and then when you have it on it's own layer the beauty is you can resize it and once again I'm gonna go with this image here I'm done with this for now and I can resize this image. I can double click and now I can paint some of this part away, so I can grab a layer mask if I want to and I can grab a brush and I can paint away parts of this image that I don't want to see here. So let me increase the size of my brush and I can start to paint away until I am able to see the biker and what I can do is change the color of the brush and paint in some of those details behind the biker and take my time and really make this look cool and of course I am going very, very quickly as usually. But I would take my time and just switch back and forth between the white and black color by hitting X on the keyboard until I get this image looking exactly the way I want it. But as you can see it's a very cool technique and once again you can use all of the other options. You can have the blend modes and you can do all kinds of cool stuff to this image, adding glows and text and whatever you want to, to really incorporate these two different elements into one image using two images and the clone stamp tool.
