If you're working in an environment where you need to leave detailed notes for people and you might want to leave a audio note you can do so with these two tools right here. This is our notes tools and this is the audio annotation tool. With the notes tool you are able to click anywhere in your document like so and type something. Now that I've written my note I can change the size of the font at anytime by going up to the menu and you notice I don't have to select the text to do so. I can also change the color of the note so that people know that whenever they see the blue note, that's from me. And speaking of that I can type the name right there. So here's my name and I can change the author at anytime. To collapse a note or to move the note just move it around like so and click here to collapse it and here's your note. People could but their mouse over this like, like so and the little window will pop up when we put that over there. There we go and they can see who it's from and they can double click to read it. I can also put another note from someone else. And I can change the name and once again I can change the color. So they know that the green note is from Ralph and the blue note is from me. So I'll go ahead and put that up here and as you see this is mine and that's Ralph's. I can clear them both by clicking this button and they go away. Now let's talk about the audio tool which is really cool. I can click and click anywhere on my document and then a dialog box appears and I can click a start to start speaking. "Hey everyone this is the boss. We are running out of coffee, it's an emergency, people are spazzing out. Please whoever is near a store, pick up some coffee. Thank you." Now here's my audio note and I can change the color of that, once again so they know it's from me because it's blue. I can put an author and once again they can hover their mouse over it to see who it's from and double click on it to listen to it, "Hey everyone this is the boss. We are running out of coffee, it's an emergency, people are spazzing out. Please whoever is near a store, pick up some coffee. Thank you." And it's as easy as that. So you have two options when it comes to leaving notes and they stay with the document, it's very cool and it's a cool way to use Photoshop to stay in touch with the people in your office so they know exactly what changes you need to have on a document as well as leaving little funny notes every once in awhile.
