Well sometimes when I'm doing an imaging project, I might change one of my palette options for the layer so that I could actually see these thumbnails a little bit bigger. And on the layers palette, go to the menu button to the right side of the palette, and choose palette options. And one of our options is to make the thumbnails bigger, at least for the time being. Think what I'm going to do is rename some of these layers so it's a bit easier. So I'm going to double click right on the name and just give them names that make more sense. Just going to hide the flower because what I want to do is make 5 cows here. So with that layer selected, I'm going to choose command + 'T', because I want to make this cow sit on my snail. So I'm going to drag it up here when it is in free transform mode and hold down the shift key, and make it a little bit smaller. The cow is looking pretty good. I think what I'm going to do is press the option key and while using my mover tool, click and drag off a copy. And now notice what Photoshop did, is it created a whole new layer with my copy on it. So I'll just choose command + 'T' and spin it around a bit. I'll hit the enter key to commit to that change. Option drag while holding down my mover tool or Alt drag on a PC, and I'll just create that transformation again by choosing command + 'T'. Command + 'T', free transform, and I'll go back to my original cow and option drag again. Enter key to commit. And those cows are looking pretty good. So what I think I'm going to do at this point is link all of my cows and collapse them to one layer. Of course you don't have to do this, I could create a layer set. I'm just going to make this a little bit simpler to manage and choose merge linked, and it merges all of the pixel data on those linked layers to one layer.
