[00:00:00.0] Another way to scroll around on your image and manage your image is using the Navigator palette. [00:00:07.0] If you're not seeing the Navigator palette, go to the Windows menu and choose Show Navigator. [00:00:13.0] It brings up this small palette, the Navigator palette. [00:00:19.0] And it has some similar features to this option down here. [00:00:24.0] It has a two small mountain icons and this slider right here - you can see if I click and drag this slider over, [00:00:36.0] I am actually zooming in. And notice the red square shows me the same area in this small thumbnail as my actual image. [00:00:49.0] I can drag this small square around and you can see how my image is being updated to show you that exact same area. [00:00:57.0] I can zoom in and zoom out by clicking on the mountains icon. [00:01:05.0] This will zooming back out, you can see what it does when I click. [00:01:12.0] It zooms out. [00:01:14.0] And similarly clicking on the larger mountains zooms in. [00:01:18.0] You can type in a particular zoom percentage if your wish, and it will zoom exactly to whatever you type in - [00:01:31.0] 125% in this case. [00:01:33.0] I use this when I have a very high-resolution image that I want to scroll around quickly on. [00:01:43.0] The one option I have with the Navigator palette is to change the color of this square. [00:01:53.0] For instance, the red indicator color might not be the best choice for a red apple image. [00:02:00.0] So I'm going to go over to the corner pull-down menu on my Navigator palette and choose palette options. [00:02:07.0] And I can change the color. [00:02:10.0] So it's little bit easier to see, depending on what your basic color of the image is. [00:02:19.0] And if you want to make this palette any larger, [00:02:25.0] you can go down to the corner here and enlarge the palette - makes it a little bit easier to see. [00:02:33.0] So the Navigator palette is another way of navigating around your image. [00:02:43.0] And it gives you some of the functionality that the zoom and the hand tool give you, [00:02:49.0] but in a different kind of format. [00:02:51.0] [00:02:53.0]
