Here we are where we left off in the previous movie and I'm going to show you some even more efficient ways of using your Multiple Master Pages. So we'll create the next Master Page for Desserts as we did before. So I'll just select these and we'll hit a New Master here and we'll leave it at C and call it Desserts and we'll base it on Master B and we'll click on OK. Now before I released the item that I want to change. What I'm going to do this time is going to release everything. Now if you're releasing one item at a time it's fine if you don't have many changes, but if you've got a lot of changes this is the way to go. So I'll pull down the menu and choose Override All Master Page Items. Everything gets overridden and I can come through here, just change the color like that, and just come down, type in Desserts, same over here, like that. Now you would think that because we have released everything and everything on the page is editable that we would lose the link between this and the B-Master. However, let's just go through and change this. We'll just call this one Desserts like that, and what I'm going to do is move this. Now because we didn't remove this on the B-Master I've got to go back to the A-Master to remove this one. So I'll select this, I'll just move it down the page like this. Now when I go to C-Desserts, look, the location has changed but the text is as it was when we changed it. So unless we do something to this, for example, if I were to move that over there like that and then come back and move this like this on the A-Master, go back to the B-Master, because I've overridden the position. It keeps this position and doesn't use the position of the Master Item. So, if you've only got one or two items to move then you can just release it and change it or not necessarily move but even change the color. However, if you want to play around with the Master you can choose the option that we had here: Override All Master Page Items. Conversely, you can remove all overrides and it goes back to where it was. Of course, we do need to change this one again, put it back up here like this, and then when we go to these other pages it has taken on the attributes of the first one. So when we've got all our Master Pages in position, before you saw me just applying them individually, but you can apply them to pages on bulk. Now this is a very short document but if you had a long document this is definitely the way to go. So we have our Entrees, and our Entrees are on Page 4 through 8, so I'll just make sure I'm on that page here and we'll select both our Masters and choose Apply Master Pages To, Pages 4 through 8. Simple as that. And then we'll come down to the Desserts one. Of course, I forgot. Let me just release - Override All Master Page Items, and then just select these two items and we'll change the color. I don't think I had this page selected when I did it. If you don't have both of them selected it only does it to the left-hand side or the right-hand Spread and I only had one page, so now I've got them both released so I can come over, change the color. I'm not going to worry about the text for the time being. Then I can come back and choose Apply Master Pages to 9 through 10. Click on OK, and you can see from the Icons down here that everything has changed like this. I've actually overridden this one by accident. That's why it's not showing up there, but everything else is absolutely in place like that. So, that's a brief introduction to Master Pages, and they are very powerful. The longer the document the more you're going to use Multiple Master Pages and a small change to one can just reflect itself throughout the entire document with very little effort from you.
