Let’s speak positively about negitive_image.fm. Now here's the letter 'h' and of course it has been drawn out. We have letter 'h', and often enough in the printing process, images or graphics can somehow become inverted. I've seen it happen time and time again, suddenly it was one way and then it flipped another. Well, you got to watch your images before it goes to the printer. Well, I am going to actually flip this image like so. There are ways to print a negative image, or a mirrored image. If you go to file, go to print, then go to set up - features, portrait, landscapes, mirror image. You can print out the reverse image, so this can be quite useful. You are going to need to know how to actually do this, to print out a mirrored image. Then once you are done, of course you would hit apply, and OK we're going to go the advanced tab. My particular printer allows me to control the saturation of the actual document being printed. I could print in grey scale, which is a fancy name for black and white. Brightness, darker, lighter and usually brightness is always adding white or black. Color tone - how warm the colors or cooler the colors are. The ink volume or the distribution of my ink, and the dry time. So these are some printer settings that are good to know - hit cancel for a moment. Now I could scale my document, if I wish 50%, how many copies do I want, of course I want registration marks, so let’s get into that. What registration marks actually are: and we have western which is us, and Tombo which is Japan. You can make marks on all four corners of your document when you print. And those marks are usually cut marks, where you decide to take your scissors and cut the page. So whenever you're going to actually have a document, and it’s going to go through the paper cutter, well, it's a good idea to use registration marks on all for corners. A matter of fact, some companies use product designer or package design, and they use crack marks, because it's going to be cut, and that happens quiet often. Now the last sheet, first as we know, is the last page of your document first, that's when you actually have, let’s say the front cover at the bottom. Now, we have skip blank pages. Collate is when you want to collate the actual document. For example, you want the first front page coming out first, and than second and third, and than repeating the process in the same order. out first, and than second and third, and than repeating the process in the same order.
