Subtitles of the Movie
A long time ago in a galaxy far away there was a war between HD-DVD and Blu-ray. Blu-ray blew up HD-DVD's desk star and has emerged victorious. So if you have a Blu-ray player or a Playstation 3, you may now do a victory lap. Let's talk now about how to create a Blu-ray Disk from Encore. The steps are very similar but you have to have a Blu-ray burner. Now if you don't have that, then pretty much can't follow along. I also do not happen to have one of those but the steps are still available if you do happen to have a burner. So, you go to the Build Menu which of course is located under the Window Menu and choose Build and the Build Dialog Box appears. You're going to choose from the Format List, Blu-ray and of course you want to output to a Blu-ray Disk. However just like on the DVD options you can choose to make a Blu-ray folder or a Blu-ray image. Now subtitles do not work with the Blu-ray file format, so just letting you know that right now, you can't put the subtitles onto your Blu-ray. Also I highly suggest that when you build a new project you want to choose the nifty, let me go to the menu real fast in your Library Catalog. You want to choose anything that has HD behind it, so let me just go to the Menu Category and let's see if I can find any of the HD ones here. Let me go to the entertainment category. We have some that say wide and those are going to look great and we also have this guy, like Studio Menu HD and Sub-Menu HD. Now these are for Hi-Def OK? So that's what that is going to do for you. Let's return to our Build Menu. The rest of these settings are the same, so you're going to choose your Blu-ray Settings using your current project and as you see here I have no recorder, it didn't even find one. But I suspect in just a few years or less we're all going to have the Blu-ray burner as a part of our computer. Because don't forget back in the day there wasn't even a DVD burner that was attached to your computer, we had CD drives and then CD Burners and now we all have a DVD Burner for the most part. So don't worry we'll get here and this will change to a Blu-ray. Everything is the same; you'll notice that you have a lot storage when it comes to Blu-Ray as well. So once you're ready to burn your project click Build and you'll be able to enjoy your Blu-ray on a Playstation 3 or any Blu-ray player.
