For those of you who plan to produce multiple DVD's on your own as in like thousands, you might want to use something called a DLT. If you go to the Encore Help you'll see and I'll just go ahead and put DVD Master in my search here, that there is something called a DLT Drive, sounds like something out of Star Wars that you'll need for Mass Replication. Now this is if you're going to do this yourself. Now go to the Internet real fast and show you what it looks like. It's one of these guys here, one of these little machines that you attach to your computer and you print out pretty much a bunch of DVD's. I want to show you some alternatives to that, there are some self publishing websites online that I've used. One is called Lulu.com and one is called Create Space which was formerly known as Custom Flicks. Now I have my DVD, Black Zero: Mercenary Ant set up through these guys here and what happens is you send them a DVD that you produced from your computer and they will then take that and make a master and then reproduce it for you. Now the beautiful thing about Lulu and Create Space is Ð by the way I am not getting a commission, I'm just letting you know some tactics you can use if you've always wanted to make your film but you couldn't produce it yourself which is why I use these guys. These are on demand which means you don't have any inventory in your house, you personally don't have to do anything but make your film, make a master copy, send it to these guys and then when people order it from your website they will only print them out as they are ordered. In other words, if 5 people order your DVD, 5 are going to be sent out to them and these guys will also mail them to the person, you don't even have to do that. So, you could either do it yourself and mass reproduce them and of course this is for you guys who are heavy hitters out there who really know what you're doing and you already know about a DLT Drive. But for the rest of us you could use something like Create Space or Lulu or even another website called CafŽ Press. Now I'm not particularly sure if they do DVD's but they are also an on demand publishing company. So once again that is what you can do when you want to mass produce your DVD. Either do it yourself or do it the safe way when you're a small company like myself and you just want to have something out there that people can order without you having to take a massive financial risk ordering thousands of them, having them sit in your basement and no one orders them, that's not fun at all. So, why not do it this way? So that's some of the options available to you, so check those out.
