Well you're finally ready to burn your DVD you're going to have to invoke the Build Menu and then choose your options, such as the device that you're going to burn it on and also what the burn speed and all that kinds of great stuff. So let's head on over to the Window Menu and choose the Build Menu. You're going to see this menu quite a bit in this section as we talk more and more about the things available to you in it. So the first thing we have to talk about of course is the format. So we're going to burn a DVD, your output in this particular case is not going to be any of these guys here, but the DVD Disk itself. If you're going to burn a disk make sure you choose this option and not these guys. Let's say you decide to put your contents in a folder on your Desktop or you make a DVD image. Don't use these guys to make your disk, always use the Encore File itself to do so. Of course you want to check your project and make sure you check the lesson in on how to do that, just make sure everything is ready to go and you're cleared for flight. Then you choose the source which of course is going to be the current project. Once again you don't want to use a DVD volume folder or disk image if you can help it. The current project is the way to go. Then you're going to choose a destination, choose your device, where you're going to burn it. I have a Mac Pro and its going to burn to my DVD rewriteable and I could choose a write speed and I'm going to go at the highest setting. I can choose my number of copies and I can auto-erase rewriteable disks. Don't forget to check down here as well to make sure that you have the room for this and let me scroll down just a tiny bit here, choose your title for your project, choose the size, so you can choose to use a regular standard single layer 4.7 gigabyte DVD or you can use a dual layer or custom or whatever you'd like to use and how many sides you're going to burn to. Then if you want to add by the way any DVD ROM content, such as pictures that people can use for wallpapers or a script from a movie or any kind of additional content, you could put that in a little separate folder on the DVD itself and you can browse your hard drive for that location and it'll put this on the DVD. Once you're ready to go, insert your DVD into the record, hit the Build Button and you'll be good to go and you'll be burning a DVD that you'll soon be able to enjoy on a Desktop player or a device such as a Playstation 3 or an Xbox 360 that will also play the DVD. So once again you click Build and as you see here if you have any problems it's going to say you can view your problems or you can ignore and continue. Now once again we can eliminate problems by checking the Check Project Section of this tutorial and you'll be able to find out how to do that in the lesson called Debugging.
