There is a device inside of Encore that simulates the actual DVD Playing and Viewing experience and I have shown it several times in action in this tutorial. But I just want to show you one last time, I'm going to go to this button right here which allows you to Preview your project, likewise you can go to the File Menu and you can also do so here by choosing Preview, opens up the same exact Project Preview Window. Here what you could do is move your mouse around just to make sure your buttons work and that the sub pictures actually light up when you hover over them, you can change the size that you're previewing it with this little button down here. If you have a Motion Menu you click this button to do that. Over here what you can do is you can pay attention to the information here to see where you are in the playback so you could see what chapters you're on and the actual time here. When this is green that means that the content that you're viewing has been transcoded, if it's red it means it has not yet been transcoded. This button allows you to jump the execution of an End Action and what that pretty much means is you don't have to wait for the playback to finish, you can click this button just to make sure that the End Action you specify actually takes place. So if you want a movie to go back to the Main Menu for example you click this button and if it works it will go back to the Main Menu for you. Of course we have our Playback Buttons that allow you to play and actually check your routing to make sure that the buttons go where their suppose to when you click on something. These guys are called transport controls and they simulate the controls that you will find with the remote control or on the device itself, such as Pause and Stop and go to the previous chapter, go to the next chapter and also Play, very handy as well. We can also go to a chapter that we enter with this little Arrow right here and once you're finished and you like everything and you're happy with it, you can then choose to exit and return to Encore to make your changes, to check to make sure everything is working, go back to your Flowchart if necessary to make connections so that everything goes where its suppose to go. You can also make sure your End Actions are set for things, so if you click on a button for example the End Action that you specify will play so that its going to work for you and then you go back and preview it again until it looks great. This guy right here is going to save you DVD's, instead of actually burning a DVD and finding what doesn't and does work the hard way which will cost of course a DVD that you can no longer use, then you can just preview everything here and once you're happy then you're ready to then Debug it and then finally Build your DVD and burn it to a DVD device or create a Flash Project with it or put it on a Blu-ray disk.
