We took a look at how to create a slideshow using the Adobe Bridge. Now let's go ahead and use some images and, by the way, choose any images that you want to. I'm going to pick four from my hard drive and we can create a slideshow right from within Encore itself. The basic slideshow is pretty boring because it's going to have a duration of about 24 seconds and of course I'll show you how to change the duration of each slide and we'll want to spruce it up later on with some audio and some transitions which we'll talk about in upcoming lessons. But for now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to my hard drive and I have some images based on one of animations here and I'm going to simply click and drag the selected images right into the Project Panel. So I'm going to click, hold my mouse down and I want to see this little blue border that tells me that the Project Panel is ready to accept a drag and drop operation. So I'll go ahead and let go of that. Those images are now inside of Encore. I can click on one image and I can see the name of it and where it lives and all that kinds of stuff. But if I want to create a slideshow, I can hold down the Shift Key on my keyboard, select all of these guys and then click this button. I'll create a slideshow and I'll wait a couple of seconds and there it is. So I have my slideshow, which I can always rename. Let me get rid of that other W there. So I changed it to Zero Show and I can see that I have four slides in it and they're down here. If I want to see the slides in a horizontal fashion, I can click this little button right here, which is going to kind of get my options and slide them out of the way. So move over. There we go. Here's my slides. It tells me where the in and out points are so this slide starts as 000000 to infinity and this one ends, or rather starts at 18 and is going to end at, let's see where it ends here, at 24. So it starts at 18 and it ends at 24. This one starts at 12 and ends at 18. So you get an idea as to when each slide starts and stops in the slideshow. I can easily rearrange the order by clicking on a slide and dragging it until I see the little black border and I let go of the mouse and now the slide is in front. If I want to zoom in, I can use these little mountain ranges to zoom in or the slider. I can see my duration down here, total duration of my slides. I can delete a slide if I want to by putting it in the garbage can. I can simply click on the garbage on the selected slide and it goes away. I'll Undo that. I can also click on a slide and change the name. The Bridge Part 1 does not do anything for me, so I want to change the name of this. I can say Zero is Mad and he's a mercenary ant and he's pretty much always mad. I don't think I've ever seen him smile. And if I want to change the duration of the slide, which is at six seconds, I have to deselect Match Slideshow. The default, by the way, is down here, 24 seconds. So I can go ahead and deselect this and then I can highlight the number if I want to and make that three seconds. But I'll leave it at Match Slideshow. To preview the slideshow, I click the Play Button and don't forget; each slide is about six seconds long so I just wait and I can watch the timer here and there it goes. The new one appears. Once again, this is pretty unfun to watch at the moment. But I'm going to show you how we can jazz it up a little bit more with some audio and with some transitions in upcoming lessons.
