In this movie, let's talk about user preferences. What we do is go up to Edit, and down to Preferences, and right here are all the preferences that we can set for our specific users, our blog defaults, what our default blog is, do we want to create a new entry if the new button's selected. Allow comments or track backs, comparing page displays, do you want to compare using the local draft or by publishing a temporary file into a temporary folder on the site. That's probably the best way to go, and it creates a temporary URL for them also. Editing, do you want Screen Reader support, do you want to save the contents in the background. We've looked at that before, that's an awesome option, do you want to enable spelling check. Comparing files, do you want to configure the application that you want to use for comparing files from Contribute. You have to have a third party file comparison utility there. Here's our File Editors, what editor do we want to use for these specific extensions, do we want an FTP proxy, you'll get that from your website administrator. Invisible elements, that little flag if we've got an anchor in there, will show up. Microsoft documents, how you want to deal with those, do you want to link, do you want to convert them to PDF, usually that's a better way to go, unless it's an internal file. If it's an internal file, then you could probably leave it as Microsoft document, because pretty much usually everybody in your staff area will have that. PDF documents, do you want insert them as embedded or a link. Ping servers, it will notify those servers, do we want to preview it in a certain browser. We can add more browsers here if we want to, and we can make one of them the main browser so it always shows it in there. Security, this is where we added our password so that when we open it up, we're protected so that nobody can just get into our Contribute, and tagging. We're going to control the placement of those tags in our blogs, so those are our preferences that we can set, so that way there ready to go.
