In this movie, let's look at enabling compatibility with other Contribute versions. Now you've got basically two options when you work on this. You can allow users to have earlier versions of Contribute and that would be what's called a Transition Mode, and you can also have one that does not allow them to use earlier versions. If for some reason everybody's not on the same platform, sometimes that does happen it let's you evaluate, maybe CS5. maybe you want to work with it, and keep everybody else where there at. And in the new version maybe you could set up new rules with new permissions, and not mess with those people that are maybe in CS3 or 4. So let's go take a look at this. Go up to Edit, Administer Websites. And let's look at compatibility, and here's what I was talking about, Transition Mode. People can use older versions of Contribute and still publish, but notice any administrative settings that we put in CS5 are not going to apply to those people. So what you do is create roles in CS5, set your permissions, change things up, however you need to and wait until you go to switch over to Compatibility Mode. This is where those new roles that you created, and then you handed them out, because then you updated everybody to CS5. Now those administrative settings are going to apply to all your users. So go ahead, go in there, and take a look at that, and consider how you're going to work with that, if there's more than one of you working with Contribute on a website.
