Let's continue to look at some of our formatting options in our table. Right here is our bold and italic, I could select one of these items, italicize it, I could also remember use my Formatting Menu Bar if I want to do all this there also. And here's my Alignments, I could do that in my Properties or I could do it right here. One thing to know is if I select just a cell, and I go to Table Properties, there is a Cell Tab here instead of the row or column, or I can go to Table and I can go down directly to Cell Properties, and it takes me straight to that Tab. Right there is where I could change the background of that one cell to that one color, because of formatting precedents, that one cell is a different color, and will maintain that, even though the rest of the table is that grey background. Now the next thing over are your numbered lists and bulleted list. Remember if I hit Tab I can go down here. There might be a case where somewhere in your table you need something to stand out, maybe it's phone extensions, so you might use a bulleted list for that. Remember use bulleted lists for things you want to stand out, you use numbered lists for things that need to be done in a certain order. So again those can be added right within a table, just as they are within a regular web page. Increase Decrease Indent, your indent and out dent depending upon how much space that table cell has, whether or not it can do anything, and of course right here is all your colors and those are awesome to use on a table to make certain columns stand out. Maybe you want somebody to pay attention really to one column, you can highlight that column in a completely different color. Here's your highlighting color, notice it highlighted that cell, and again that cell takes precedence over the table's formatting. Alright, so take a minute, go in there, and play with your formatting options on the Toolbar, don't forget you do have all the same kind of options under the Format Menu. Remember underline, typically you don't do that on a web page because people think it's a link, but inside of a table, it's not necessarily as bad of an idea, sometime it helps make things stand out to kind of like bulleted lists or color changes. So go ahead and try your formatting in your tables.
