In this movie, let's talk about Inserting HTML Code Snippets, if you have a higher level Contribute user, you can allow those users to add custom HTML. HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language, now remember they have to have the permission in their account. I'm editing this page, if I go up to Insert notice HTML Snippet is grayed out, I can't access it. In order to do that I have to go up to Edit and My Connections, I have my site here I'll click Administer and what I will do is I will select my person, I'm going to Edit the Role Settings, I'm going to go over here to Editing and down here allow HTML Snippet Insertion, I'll click OK, click Save and Close and then I'll close it again. OK now I'm going to go up here and then HTML Snippet is available so let's go up here underneath the Welcome and let's select HTML Snippet, now we can Enter the Code. I'm going to Enter the Code just to put the date and time on the page, Alrighty let's try this, notice it tells us it's not going to validate the code, I'll click OK, I'll hit Publish. It's published our draft to the server, I'm going to click OK here, then you'll see right now it's Monday, June 7 and it puts the time and the date on there. So that's my little HTML Code Snippet. Notice it appears as I'm browsing the page. So if you want to give that option to some higher-level users you can, if you want to see HTML code, you can simply go out on the web, you can find a page and you can view the page source, right here is all kinds of coding that you can look at. You can search on the web and learn HTML coding, you can search for little HTML Code Snippets to find some that maybe you could just copy and paste in there to try it out. So take a minute and look at that option in your Contribute.
