In this movie, let's look at How to Become an Administrator of a website, let's do a quick review on that and then let's also look at all the options you have as an administrator. There's lots of preferences that you can set, basically you're going to be able to Set Permissions, you're going to be the Contact Person, you're going Set Settings that affect the entire site. Now if we go up to Edit My Connections you can see right here for my Lodging site and Tutorial website I am the Administrator. Let's go reconnect to my mytechrelief site and become the administrator there. It's going out there, testing my connection, testing everything, making sure that I can get a hold of this and I actually do have permission to do so. I choose Administrator, I have to type in the password, I'm going to choose Writer and click Done and then actually what we'll go do now is once we're connected, we'll actually go become the administrator of the site. Alright, let's go up to Edit and let's go to My Connections, notice mytechrelief.com my role right now is a Writer, what I want to do is Edit that, it's going to tell me the same information here, this time I can just select Administrator like that, I can click OK, Next and then Done. And then what you notice see right here, my Role is Administrator, So that automatically can happen very easily if you want it to, just wanted to make sure that you knew how that could happen and review it really quickly. Now let's go up to Administer, we're going to administer our sites and all the preferences that we have. Now the first area is the Users and Roles, this is obviously where we Create our Users, we Give them their Rights, we Send them their Connection Keys like we've done, we can also Edit their Roles and we can even Remove them if they're no longer here or they're causing problems we can just remove them completely. Now in a later movie we'll actually go through all of these roles and learn all their specific rights and learn more details about them. The next option down is the Administration, what the e-mail address is for the administrator notice it tells us it's going to display those in the error messages, basically that's the contact point for our users, that tell them who they need to contact if they're having problems. Here we can Set the Administrator Password if we need to do that, and here we could completely Remove Administration, we can Remove all Shared Settings from the website if we want to do that. Publishing Server, Enable Publishing Server, now Contribute Publishing Server is some software that you can purchase from Adobe, if you want to learn more about it you just simply click that link and it'll take you out to their website. What this does it let's you centrally manage users with the user directory service, now that's an option of like using Active Directory if you know anything about server and users and rights and things like that- so right here is where it starts telling you all about the Contribute Publishing Server, you do have to purchase this, basically it's a server application, it's going to be used to track user access and user changes so what you can do is go read through that, you can read through the price, it's per user access licenses, so it shows you here if you've got ten users you're going to need ten licenses. So you can scroll through that and see if it's something that you need to use, if you have a really large company that you're going to have a lot of users, you may want this additional option. If you do want that option, this is where you would Enable the Publishing Server, you're going to type in that URL and whether or not you want to Enable the User Directory. So let's stop here and in the next movie we'll continue down these Administrative options.
