In this movie, let's talk about Preferences that you have for your blogs. Let's go up to Edit and down to Preferences, now the Blog Defaults right here our default blog is our Contribute CS5 blog. If we had more than one set up we could obviously change that, when we create a new blog entry when the New button is clicked we can check that, we can Allow Comments and Allow Trackbacks. Allow Comments then would make that the default, remember right now it's not pushed in so it isn't the default. Compare Page Display, compare using a local draft or by publishing a temporary folder in the site, we talked about that when we compare our pages in different browsers. Editing options, if we want to Enable Screen Reader Support, how often do we want it to Autosave we've talked about that and do we want to have Spell Checking just going on in the background rather than using the spell check button when we're finished. File Compare, this allows you to configure the application you want to use to compare files from Contribute so that's an option. Remember down here it tells you, you do have to install your third-party comparison tool. File Editors, what editors are we going to use when we edit a PNG file or a GIF or a JPEG, right now I have Fireworks as my primary editor. I could have Photoshop loaded, I could have Picasa and I could move those up and down and make one of them the Primary. I could also remove them or add new ones. My FTP Proxy, if I have a proxy I can put that in there. Invisible Elements, Show the Section Anchors when editing, right now I'm editing this page notice those little flags, those are specific anchors but they are invisible to your user. Microsoft Office Documents, how it's going to handle those, we're going to create a link, are we going to convert them to PDF, we're going to put them in the current draft, we'll work with Microsoft Office Documents specifically in some later movies. PDF Documents, do we want to embed them, create a link to them or just ask me each time and again will work with PDFs in a later movie in more detail. Ping Servers, this tells you what servers do you want to notify when you post a blog entry so that those those servers are aware of the most recent items that you've got on there. Here's our Preview in Browser, we've talked about that which browser do you want as your primary browser. Security, again do you want it encrypted and of course the last one on there is Tagging which we talked about tagging earlier. So take a minute, go through those Blogging Preferences so you make sure that they're set to work with your blog.
