In this movie, let's take a closer look at the tech specs for Adobe Contribute CS3. Let's head out to the internet and let's go to Adobe.com. Once you're at Adobe, go to the product section and let's scroll down here and select Contribute. Once you're in Contribute, there's a link right there for system requirements and let's scroll down and take a look here. Contribute works on the Windows and the Mac platforms. Information here on what operating systems it will work with. It works with both XP and Vista. I personally have used it on both. It lists the gig of available hard drive space. You want to make sure that you've got that if your computer's a little bit older. And the other thing you want to watch out for is your RAM. 512 is what they have listed. Personally, I would go for at least a gig, if not even a little bit more if you're going to work with a lot of flash information or movies. That couldn't hurt. And then of course, as you go down through, whether or not you want all this other stuff. The Microsoft Office plug-in, that's an optional item. You don't have to have Microsoft Office if you're not going to insert Word documents or Excel files within your website. And of course, as you go through here, again more information on the Mac, basically the same information. And it also talks about the web browser plug-in for Fire Fox. Again, that's optional. Don't have to have that if you don't want to. As you scroll down through the rest of it, it talks about Contribute publishing server. Contribute publishing server is an optional item. You can just use Contribute. Contribute will check files in and out. Contribute publishing server is an item where you can actually see what elements people are changing and uploading. If you have a very large system and you need to keep track more specifically of actually people are doing, that's an option for you. So those are the tech specs of Contribute.
