Subtitles of the Movie

Now that we've taken a look at the render queue, let's take a look at some of the modules you can use to output your file to different formats. And you'll see that right here under the Output Module. I can twirl this down and take a look at what it's specifically on at the moment. So I can see that it says QuickTime Movie, Output Info and all kinds of other stuff here. But if I want to change the output module, I can go to this drop-down list and choose something from here. So I can render out the Alpha Only. I can make an Animated GIF for the web, Audio Only, Photoshop and many other QuickTime formats. I can also click on the hot text to open up a dialog box. So I can change my format here as well. I can see many more options by going to the hot text, as you can see here. So I can make an Adobe Quick Note, once again, an Animated GIF, Filmstrip, Blu-ray, Image Sequences, MPEG and more. So I'll choose QuickTime Movie. Then I can change my video output if I want to. So I can go to Alpha or RGB, my color depth and whether I'm going to have this pre-multiplied or straight. Pretty much what this means is when you pre-multiply something, the application is going to go ahead and multiply your import so that you can have it already done and you can see behind it. So if you have an alpha channel with your file, you can pre-multiply it, which is kind of like going to the blend modes when we choose things like multiply or screen; kind of the same thing. If you don't want it to be multiplied, you can just choose straight. I can also go to my Format Options and click on that and choose different things from this list. Just in case you didn't see that, right here; Format Options and I can change things like the Frame Rate, the Compression Type, the Compressor Quality and everything else. So I'll cancel that for now. I can also choose to Stretch and to Crop, even use the Region of Interest and I can change my Audio Output if I want to as well. So I can change the quality of my audio from low quality all the way up to CD quality. I can also change the Bits, so I can have eight-bit audio or 16-bit and mono or stereo. Mono is audio that comes out of one speaker and stereo is audio that comes out of both speakers. So those are the module settings that you can choose by clicking on the hot text. Likewise, you can also choose your module from here. Now, let's talk about how to actually save it somewhere. Click on the hot text here and then you can choose to save it on your hard drive in an additional hard drive if you have one on your system. I can also click on this list here and choose from these options. And once I'm done, I simply click Render and then when I have something queued, I can then render that out and then After Effects will have that read to go. So just let me go ahead and tell it where to save here and I'll output it to my computer, I'll say Choose and then I can click Render. If you don't tell it where to go, you're going to get that option. So be sure to specify a place for it to save. I'm actually going to stop this for now and just give you an example of what the final output looks like. Here's a QuickTime Movie and this is what I will send my client. And that's how you can get files out of After Effects so that you can then present it to other people.
