Subtitles of the Movie
I'm currently in the Export Settings Dialog Box in Premier Pro. Let me show you how to get here so that you can export your movie into the format of your choice. Well before we do that let's think about what we have so far. We have a movie that we created in After Effects, then brought into Premier Pro for further refinement and also so we can adjust the audio. We added some keyframes so we can fade our audio out gently and now what we're going to do is go to File and then choose Export. But what gives, why can't I actually select the Export? Because we're in the Project Panel, you have to keep your eyes on this Orange highlight here. Typically I click on the Sequence or the Program Panel and then I go back to that menu and then Export is illuminated. So that's a little gotcha moment that a lot of people face, they're not sure why they can't export. So now we can, go to Export, Media and in our Export Settings Dialog Box which is as is customary with Adobe, massive and we can then choose our format, we can click on this little list and choose anything you'd like from Blu-Ray to DVD to MP3, I'm going to choose QuickTime. If you have a preset that you'd like to load, click on the Envelope to Import a preset. If you save a preset or modify one you can click here to do so. You can also delete a preset and to choose a preset go to this list. You can write comments if you'd like and to choose where you're going to save this movie, click on the Hot Text. To Export your video and audio, click these Checkmarks or deselect one or the other to choose what you want to export. And here is our summary. We see our Pixel Dimensions for this movie, 720 by 480. Our frame rate, our quality and the quality of the audio and all we can do at this point is choose our audio codec. So if you want to compress your audio you might want to choose one of these things from this list. I typically go with IMA 4 to 1 and that will compress it very nicely. You can also choose your sample rate for your audio, for low quality all the way to super duper kryptonite quality. I'll leave it at 48 and I'll leave it at stereo. Once you're done all you have to do is hit OK and then you can Export your movie and then enjoy it on TV or on your computer or however you'd like to view it.
